To support the launch of the 2018 Formula 1® season, Renault Sport unveil the special edition CLIO R.S. 18. A future collector’s edition specially intended for motorsport enthusiasts, starting with fans of Nico Hülkenberg and Carlos Sainz Jr. And what if you were the next Renault Sport Formula One Team driver?

F1 ® -Technology

The engine delivers 162kW at 6,050 rpm and torque of 280Nm is reached from just 2,000 revs. This engine benefits from groundbreaking technology modelled on the DLC (Diamond-like Carbon) pushrods derived from Formula 1 ®. Its engine verve is complemented by tightly controlled fuel consumption*: 5.9L/100 km. The sporty turbo engine is accentuated by the exclusive coupling with the EDC 6-speed dual-clutch gearbox.

Sporty design meets exclusivity

The exclusive styling of the New CLIO R.S. 18’s is reflected in the Renault Sport decals added to the door panels and the roof. The blacked out badging and rear diffuser contrasted by the Liquid Yellow details on the side strip, front blade and wheel caps make the overall look even more radical. The doorsills on this special edition model are also uniquely numbered.

In yellow and black

Boldly expressing the link between the race track and the road, CLIO R.S. 18 bears the same name as the Renault F1 ® racecar that competes in Grand Prix. It also features the same iconic colour scheme as the Renault Sport Formula One Team car: its Deep Black cloak and an accented Liquid Yellow F1 ® splitter - a look that exudes performance.

Launch Control

Discover the exhilaration of the most energetic standing start using electronic intelligence to reproduce the efficiency of an experienced racing driver. With paddles at hand, right foot on the accelerator and left foot on the brake, the message, 'Launch Control On' is displayed. As soon as your left foot is raised from the aluminium pedal, the New Clio R.S. 18 explodes off the line, with breathtakingly dynamic gear changes.
